Japanese Language Education Association (JLEA)


JASTECA in addition to organizing human resource development and technology transfer programs, it  is also actively engaged in social responsibility, welfare and educational activities.

Teaching Japanese Language has been an activity undertaken by JASTECA from the very inception and in the year 2003, the oldest Japanese Language Teaching Association in Sri Lanka, established by the Japanese Embassy, under the name of “Japanese Language Education Association”, (JLEA) was transferred to JASTECA.

The Japanese Language Education Association (JLEA) was established as a Trust of JASTECA and is managed by the Senior Vice Patron Mr. Dayasiri Warnakulasooriya, who is also the Chairman of JLEA Trust. Over 800 students/participants pass through this JLEA every year.

 


 

Objectives

  • To guide you in becoming efficient and self confident in the Japanese Language, through systematic teaching methods.
  • To provide you with an equally balanced knowledge in Reading, Writing, Listening and Conversational Japanese.
  • To develop your capacity to communicate effectively in Japanese, using audio/video-teaching materials.
  • To aim for the Japanese Language Proficiency Examination, through a properly designed syllabus.
  • To develop practical knowledge in Kanji characters, through systematic teaching methods.
  • To introduce modern and effective Japanese using the best and latest teaching materials directly brought from Japan, by the best teachers of Japanese Language in Sri Lanka.
  • To provide all students in class with individual attention.

 

Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU)

  • The 1st Session will be held on Sunday, 16 June 2013

 

Japanese Language Profeciency Test (JLPT) July 2013

  • JLPT Tests will be held on Sunday, 7 July 2013 at the BMICH, Colombo.
  • Period of application and registrations will be carried out from 18 March to Friday, 5 April 2013 from Monday to Saturday between 9.00am to 4.00pm(Office is closed on Sundays & Poya holiday)
